Personality: In essence? Solarpaw is a pansy. He is very shy and timid, a runner rather than a fighter. There are times where he suddenly has a back bone and will become stubborn to handle things, but these times are few and far in between. He prefers to just sit by himself and watch others, listening to the world around him and not getting in anyones way. He's terrified of making someone else upset and can't stand the idea of being around too many cats at once, for his nerves start getting jittery and it's hard for him to think straight because he gets too scared. You will most often find him walking around with his head down and his ears pressed against his head. It's unsure as of yet what can make this tom come out of his shell, although when he's curious about something his stutter does stop, so perhaps that has something to do with it. For his quiet personality he can be very thoughtful, since it's the only thing that can keep other cats happy and keep them from deciding he is a good target to hurt. So if a cat is down or upset and he knows about it you can bet he'll probably try to figure out a way to make them just a bit happier, all while not confronting them, cause then he'd just by shy, pansy little Solarpaw.

History: This young kit doesn't have much of a history. He was born as a son to Coalshine and Bonesnatcher, though he has no memory of his father. For a while he thought Rowanclaw was his father, and this confusion lead him to reveal to his mentally unstable mother that Bonesnatcher was in fact dead and her mind had been showing Rowanstripe as her mate. As well, this also meant that the slowly rotting corpse of what was supposedly his brother, Strikekit, decaying in the den. Horrified, Coalshine retreated to the nursery with his sister Wrenkit and Solarkit himself while Rowanclaw went to bury the body. He's held a hatred for Rowanclaw since then as it was because of him that his mother was no longer happy and not acting like his mother. A doting son, he's tried his best to make sure she eats and is well cleaned, but as he was a kit there wasn't much he could do. Even now as an apprentice, he doesn't feel like he can do much for his mother except be with her and try to offer support, especially since Wrenkit disappeared.

Bonesnatcher
You're our father, but the whispers in the clan say you died during the flood from the old home. Why couldn't you have fought to be here with us? Mother is so sad, so depressed... She's not mother anymore, her mind is gone. Did you know how much she loved you? How much we needed you? I just want to know my daddy...

Wrenkit
We made plans as kits to run away to the old territory to find our father and bring him back to make mother happy. Yet, you've disappeared. Why? Did the time come and I was just not around? If so... please hurry back to us. I don't know if I can take care of mother all by myself...

Coalshine
Mother.... Why did you have to change? You can't even do things for yourself... But... But... You loved father, and they say that it's no surprise that a love that strong did this too you. I'm scared to fall in love because of what I see but... Sometimes... Though you don't know it, you smile. And it's the prettiest thing ever, and you look so happy, so peaceful. Is it because you are thinking about father? Maybe you can tell me about him one of these days.

I... Well.. I think we're friends, right? I mean, you hated me because your father spent so much time with myself and my mother... Well, mostly my mother. But I lied to your father once about you bullying me and you started to become nice to me. So.. We're friends? I think so... Maybe.. I don't know.

Rowanclaw
I hate you. Stay away from my mother. Because of you I lost my... Brother... Thing. And I lost my mother. She was so much better until you told her you weren't our father. Couldn't you have just kept her happy? And you don't even come around much since, you just let her get worse and worse. I... I... I can't stand you.
